Are you in New York's Hudson Valley on Saturday, September 30? Well come by, because I'll be making a special appearance at my hometown library, the Goshen Public Library and Historical Society, as they kick off their first-ever Go Con. It's a day-long celebration of all things comics, games, anime and more.
Aside from me, Go Con will feature a Zoom panel with anime and game voice actor Kyle Hebert, a Dungeons and Dragons panel, a video game tournament and more. As for me, I'll be doing a panel on how to write comics for kids in grades 6 and younger. I was originally going to do a second panel for kids grades 7 and up but had a scheduling conflict. So this is my promise to older kids: you can still come to the panel, and even though I'm trying to make it understandable for younger kids, you'll still learn something!
Whether or not you find yourself in Goshen that day, you can listen to me speak to the Goshen and Florida Libraries' FloGos Podcast about my history as a comics creator and what I'll be doing at Go Con. Check it out!
